I read this with interest yet also with an uneasy sense of AI having had a hand in the composition, which left me feeling ambivalent. Does futureproofing include using AI and stepping away from an authenticity? I’m genuinely curious, as AI writing tends to push me away as a reader.
Thank you for sharing your perspective. None of it was written by AI. But I’m not ashamed to admit I use AI for writing but rather as a mirror for my work and feedback tool for further adjustments. Minor polishes, grammar, typos, repetitions. Sometimes bigger structure changes. Futureproofing in fact includes using AI as collaborator instead of stripping yourself from possibilities of machine efficiency for the sake of authenticity. In fact, it may sound more like you than your real self (no hesitation, no fatigue, constant)
Ah but the patterns remain. The power of three, the saccharine sweet phrasing. I accept it can be a useful tool but my heart leaps with joy when I read something that is genuinely untouched by AI, even if it is flawed by human error. Thank you for replying with such openess!
Either we start now or in few years we will fall behind others who are using AI fluently. Brutal truth? On organisation level companies are already desperately looking to introduce AI solutions and reduce the cost/increase speed.
